Nigel's photo's part 1

This is the first photograph I took with my new digital camera.

This is Wells Cathedral in Somerset. I went there in late March with Andrew Field when I was down in Dorset in early May 2005.

Wells is a really tiny city, but with a lovely old part - this is the most impressive cathedral facade I have seen in England, with an amazing detail close up. Inside, the stairs to the chapter house are most impressive, but you had to have a licence to take a photograph, and I was too mean to buy one - I am surprised there were not money lenders and hawkers around too. Posted by Picasa
